Echo's Logo Scarf Helps in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Portion of Proceeds Will Go To Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
(New York - October 2001) The Echo Design Group is honoring Breast
Cancer Awareness Month in October by creating an 'Echo Logo' silk
scarf
available
at leading department and specialty stores. For each logo scarf
that is sold, Echo will donate a portion of the proceeds to the
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, to be used specifically
for breast
cancer research. The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center
is the
world's oldest and largest private institution devoted to the
prevention, treatment and cure of cancer.
Through this special
project, The
Echo Design Group gives customers the opportunity to show
their support for the fight against breast cancer. Available in four
different color combinations, the scarves feature distinctive
graphics
in
beautiful
color combinations, including purple and blue, black and
gray, pink and orange and a khaki/neutral combination.
"The Echo Design Group honors women, as well as their total health and well-being," says Lynn Roberts, Vice President of Advertising and Public Relations at Echo. "We are very proud of this project and hope that the logo scarves will help carry the message of just how important breast cancer research is to women and families everywhere."
The
Echo Logo scarf is available at Bloomingdale's, Macy's
East, Lord + Taylor and other fine department and specialty stores
nationwide.
The suggested retail is $25.
Echo style goes far beyond
just
scarves. The Echo brand encompasses products such as
cold weather scarves,
wraps, gloves and hats, rainwear, men's neckwear, home
fabrics and wallcoverings, bed and bath products, and stationery
items.
