On Tuesday, January 7th our Chariman, Dorothy Roberts was honored by the Accessories Council with a “Hall of Fame” Tribute at Charlie Palmer’s Metrazur in Grand Central Station. Attendees gathered to celebrate Mrs. Roberts’ many notable career accomplishments, her 80th birthday as well as the 85th anniversary of The Echo Design Group.
Attendee’s included Echo’s licensees, retailers, employees and fashion insiders who warmly toasted and thanked Mrs. Roberts for her vision and guidance throughout the years. Patrick M. Murphy, Head of Fashion/Retail Growth Initiatives for New York City Economic Development Corporation read a letter from Mayor Michael Bloomberg, thanking her for her contributions to the fashion industry and to New York City at large.
